Concept design for a competition by Polestar.

Embracing the tenets of biomimicry, the design features a cocoon-like exoskeleton capable of accommodating up to eight passengers, seamlessly fusing organic and streamlined geometric principles.

Taking inspiration from nature’s evolutionary marvels, the drone’s architecture draws parallels with a manta ray and shark-skin, employing its curvilinear form to reduce air resistance while effectively mitigating structural tensions and torsions. The passenger capsule’s transition into two wings conceales its propulsion systems – these revolutionary wings harness electromagnetic fields, representing a pioneering technological advancement yet to be invented.
